Our Prevention Education Coordinator provides specifically tailored curriculum to community members to end the sigma and silence around unhealthy relationship dynamics and stop violence before it starts.
This includes:
- Healthy relationship lessons for 7th – 8th graders focused on healthy friendships, discussing:
- Boundaries and consent
- Active bystander intervention and red flags
- Active Bystander trainings at local businesses to educate on sexual harassment and assault, discussing:
- Consent and alcohol
- Substance use coercion
- Active bystander intervention
- How to support survivors
- Rape culture and drug-facilitated assault
- Hosting a Sexual Violence Task Force of community members dedicated to ending violence
